August 11 Wednesday Day 13

St Martins campground day 3
Definitely not my favorite spot.
Our dog Highway barks non stop. We have built barricades to stop him from seeing other dogs but it continues. We go walking with the dogs along the beach every evening after supper. So beautiful and so sad that you must pay to see the beach.
It is another foggy morning, I thought this must be the norm, but someone told us that it isnt. Woke up to the sound of fog horns blowing in the distance every few minutes. It is soothing but I found myself waiting for the next one so it was a very early start to my day.
We went to the Sentier Fundy part of the trail. It is in St Martin and does connect to the full trail but it is free.
We had lunch at a world famous restaurant. Famous for its clam chowder. We shared 1 lobster roll and 2 cups of chowder. That was plenty of food. Thank goodness we didnt order 2 rolls.
Came with onion rings and tea biscuits. We were full after that.
Lunch was 50.00. Yeah, after the lobster tails at such a great price the night before, not running out for soup and a sandwich anytime soon, but the experience was worth it, and the view was amazing.
After lunch we hit a garage sale, score! $12.00 and great stuff. A lobster platter, blue plate, enamel cups.
Then later we went to Octopus Icecream for a great treat, lovely ladies working there!
My favorite stop of the day was Lori Gayles shop. I bought a seahorse soap in a shell. Plan to go back there for other items once we have a house. Some fabulous antiques and gifty household decor.
Today I am grateful to be a tourist and of course garage sales.
