This blog is created to share with our friends and family the preparation to move our home from Manitoba to New Brunswick.
Tom and I went to the maritime provinces on a vacation back in 2007 and we fell in love with the whole area. We talked often about going back for vacation and then one day we just looked at each other and both agreed, let's move there!
Since Tom retires at the end of September 2019, we figured that we would try to get to NB by the middle of 2020. That is approximately 18 months away. That also means that I must retire from the shop......now that will be a story in itself wont it?
In order to make this move, we must de-clutter, downsize, cherry pick our entire life of collecting and that includes my art supply hording. Yikes!
This blog is going to show you first how we decide what to keep and what to let go of, then buying and selling a home, next actually traveling to get to NB with all of our goods (did I mention we will be taking 5 cats and 2 dogs?) and then our experiences of setting up a new home and everything there after.
But it doesn't end there, we will be making new friends, furnishing and preparing a new home and planning on a new business. We are hoping to open up a BNB (Bed and Breakfast) so that our family, friends, and extended friends can come and visit us and have a place to stay.
So if all goes as we are planning, stay tuned for regular updates throughout 2019 as we get ready to move to New Brunswick!
